There is some risk in putting too much pressure on your teeth with a Jew's Harp. You have to discipline yourself to put only the minimum pressure required to keep the instrument comfortably on the teeth. Practice and experimentation will help you get the right amount. I've found that the better instruments usually require less pressure. The "triggers" have less mass.
