Jean - There are many JH players in the NYC area... especially Brooklyn. I personally would love to see y'all get together and start an East Coast chapter of the Guild. This is something the Board of Directors has discussed in the past and, as I recall, the concensus was that the JHG would make available what resources there are to promote the instrument and Guild at festivals and other events. It takes dedicated volunteers to make this happen. - The JHG has members from around the world. Most support the Guild to ensure that there is a common place - such as our website - to share information about, and the love for, the instrument. - As far as building goes... please see the current issue of the JHG Online newsletter for an article on building a Jewsaphone. We hope other makers will contribute articles on their work in the future. - Mark, JHG Webmaster
